Indovina Bank (IVB) in late September brought home the 2019 BNY Mellon Straight-through Processing Award via the global system of the Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon), marking the fifth consecutive year the bank has been presented with this award.
The BNY Mellon Straight-through Processing Award is granted annually to recognize exceptional performance in straight-through processing, one of the important criteria in assessing the accuracy and automation of electronic transfers. With a high rate of straight-through processing, international payments are performed in the most optimal way in terms of speed and accuracy, helping customers save time and money.
To keep winning this prestigious award of BNY Mellon, IVB has fully and excellently met the stringent scoring criteria: processing speed, level of compliance with the process, level of guarantee for safely and smoothly handled transactions, minimized risks and delays in processing international transactions, etc.
With the almost perfect straight-through processing rate of 98%, IVB for the fifth year in a row (2015-2019) has been named the winner of this award for the bank with the highest rate of straight-through processing for payments in the U.S. dollar. By maintaining the superior quality of its straight-through processing, IVB further affirms its brand and quality of payment services in the international market, enhancing customers’ confidence.
For many years, IVB has paid due attention to digitizing banking services and improving its service quality, while accompanying its clients and sharing financial hardships with them. Specifically, late this May, IVB launched a completely new version of its website www.indovinabank.com.vn and the Internet Banking page ebanking.indovinabank.com.vn with modern interface, smart features and multiple utilities. In addition, the bank is running the new program “Preferential loans – Finance in hand” with the minimum interest rate of 7.99% per annum for individual customers and 5.99% for businesses.
Established on November 21, 1990, IVB is the first joint venture bank in Vietnam, with nearly 30 years of experience serving foreign-invested enterprises and import-export companies in Vietnam, in which international trade finance has long been one of its top strengths. In addition, the bank has extensive cooperation relationships with more than 300 financial institutions around the world. This is one of the advantages for IVB to thrive in the field of international payments.
