IVB donated 1 Billion VND to support disaster-affected people

According to Dai Doan Ket newspaper, on the morning of October 31, IVB presented 1 billion VND to the Southern Working Committee of Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to aid people in areas affected by Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi).

Mr. Mai Pham Tuan, Deputy General Director of IVB, shared that Typhoon No. 3 caused severe damage to communities in the northern regions. Recognizing these hardships, IVB decided to contribute 1 billion VND, hoping to join hands with the country in helping people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. “This is not only financial support but also a warm expression of solidarity and compassion, a noble gesture that spreads love, with the belief that Vietnamese people will always unite and stand strong to overcome all challenges together,” Mr. Tuan emphasized.

According to Mr. Tuan, immediately after Typhoon No. 3 ended, IVB’s management team took timely, practical action to directly support staff in the affected provinces. Additionally, the IVB Trade Union and all IVBers have organized fundraising activities to support workers at companies, which are IVB clients, in areas impacted by the disaster.

In the near future, IVB plans to implement more community-oriented projects to promote social welfare and assist disadvantaged communities.

Speaking at the donation reception, Ms. Pham Thanh Tuyen, Deputy Head of the Southern Working Committee, expressed her gratitude for the meaningful support from IVB's leadership and staff towards disaster-affected communities. Ms. Tuyen wished IVB success in its business endeavors and encouraged them to continue supporting the community, especially those facing difficult circumstances.
