Bank Impersonation Warning for Biometric Authentication Instructions

Dear Valued Customers,

Indovina Bank Ltd (IVB) would like to warn about new fraud cases. Many people impersonating bank employees contact via phone, text message or email to provide instructions on biometric authentication, attacking and stealing customers' personal information.

Fraudulent Tactics:

1. Identity fraud: The perpetrator uses the bank's name, logo and information to build trust.

2. Contact for instructions: The perpetrator requests personal information, bank account, the front and back of the ID card, face or perform biometric authentication such as fingerprints, facial recognition, voice on fake Bank apps.

3. Information theft: After being informed, the perpetrator accesses the bank account and conducts fraudulent transactions that cause damage to customers.

Recommendation from IVB:

• IVB never asks for personal information or performs biometric authentication via phone, text message or email.

• Only update biometric information through official IVB Mobile Banking application  available on CH Play and Appstore or by directly contacting IVB branches and transaction offices.

• If you receive a suspicious call, text or email, please immediately contact IVB via the hotline 1900 588 879.

IVB is committed to protecting all customers' information and assets. We encourage customers to always be vigilant and take security measures when using banking services.

Best regards,

Indovina Bank Ltd
